I saw an instagram post from Rolex advertising the submariner, so I asked my AD out of curiosity if a submariner is a shorter wait than an Air King. There is only one Submariner and then there is a Submariner Date. Have had my request for a Sub Date (black) from 3 ADs for the last three months. Out of curiosity how long have other folks been waiting for this watch on this forum?
You need to think ahead, to what your future Rolex collection will be with the GMT and the Datejust in the mix. At that time, the No Date Submariner is essentially the only full-sized sport model that can offer you A and B.
